Amber Benson, an American singer-songwriter director and producer also writes. Her most famous role is being the character Tara Maclay from the TV Series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson was the younger child of Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Benson was born in Birmingham, Alabama on 8 January 1977. Danielle Benson was her artistic younger sister.
