Kelly Clarkson was an American artist and songwriter who was the sweetheart of America after she took home American Idol in the first season. It brought her to notoriety and led to a contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings, along with 'S Recordings. Since her debut, she released numerous albums. Three of those albums made it to the top of the US Billboard 200. The others were close to the top spot. She is one of the most successful artists to come out of the American Idol series. With her professional development and she started to experiment in new styles and themes of music. She often co-wrote songs with her husband to express her feelings. In recognition of her talent and individuality, she has received lots of praise and awards. One of her most memorable achievements is that she won 3 Grammy awards. The music industry isn't the only thing she is involved in. She has also appeared in television and film. She also co-wrote the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been associated with a number of charities.
