Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. Her father is an Argentine of Scottish and English heritage. She is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's prior marriage. Family was within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, then moved to Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy stated she was painful, and she refused to go back to school in English as she wanted to go back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after switching from Northlands. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes and participated in drama productions. After she turned 16, she left school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to work as an actor. She was given a chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her the opportunity to model.
